The Blossom cutting design allows for Intra-Lock implants to continually cut through bone with efficiency and minimal force. This minimizes trauma to the tissue, and evenly distributes the cutting force along the full body of the implant. This design functions to lower insertion torque while increasing implant stability and evenly dispersing bone chips along the threads of the implant.1 This dispersion helps generate an autologous micrograft at the implant site, which can promote faster osseointegration.2

Implant with Blossom®

Bone Chip Distribution

Blossom produces fewer, smaller, and more discrete bone chips than standard cutting flutes. The continuous flute design disperses these chips along the full body of the implant. The distributed bone chips provides specific sites for new bone formation and osseointegration to occur.

Insertion Torque

With continuous cutting design, Blossom is able to achieve primary stability without requiring additional instruments. The cutting efficiency of Blossom prevents excessive compression of the bone during implant placement.
