Precision Jaw Registration

For the manufacture of individual dentures and occlusal splints, the Zebris JMA jaw registration systems record all degrees of mobility of the lower jaw without contact. The measuring range includes all parameters required for the adjustment of mechanical and virtual articulators. This makes it perfectly integrated into the workflow of digital dental practices and laboratories. In addition, the Zebris JMA system optionally allows functional analytical examinations as well as the determination of the centric relationship.

Interface with digital dentistry

The JMA system is capable of exporting individual movement data to produce functional dentures and forms the important functional part in the digital workflow. The bite fork with scannable coupling patented by Zebris measures the position of the upper jaw and establishes the relationship between the tooth surfaces and the lower jaw sensor of the JMA system. The movement data determined with the JMA system can be transferred to CAD/CAM systems (e.g. Exocad) as real movement data or for programming virtual articulators. The use of a mechanical spring is no longer necessary.

a software with countless extension possibilities

The intuitive Zebris WINJAW+ evaluation software impresses with its clearly structured, modular and therefore user-friendly interface. It can be conveniently operated using the wireless foot switch or the PC keyboard. Every movement is recorded in real time on the screen and can be repeated at any time. The basis of this software is the database integrated with the basic measurement module.

Analyzing muscle function using the optional integrated EMG

The JMAnalyser+ system is additionally available with the optional integrated EMG module. It allows easy analysis of muscle action potentials using bipolar skin surface electrodes. The system allows functional tests of the anterior temporal and masseter muscle groups. Conduction takes place on both sides via electrode cables with integrated measurement amplifiers. EMG activity can be detected precisely and reliably, without cable artifacts.

The EMG module extends the JMAnalyser+ with four analog channels, four EMG amplifier cables, and software extension to the FDM software suite.
